In spite of the company name, Rickaroons was not founded by just one man. Here are the three founders:
Rick LeBeau first entered the natural foods business 30 years ago when he was looking for sponsors as a triathlete. The rest is a lot of history. In this history he had a son that he spent a lot of energy on/in the sun, pool, and waves, on the diamond, court, and field playing every sport possible. The need for sustained energy even a kid would love started the evolution towards Rickaroons. Rick has been giving away Rickaroons for years now. But after too many people refused to believe his cookies didn't have flour, eggs, or butter because they "tasted too good", he knew it was time to spread the good word...and launch Rickaroons.
Janalyn Yanover is a lifelong athlete with an eye for beauty. After a high school career of 12 varsity letters and college recruiters knocking on her door, she decided to instead pick up surfing and yoga. Traveling the world for both loves, she brings her camera everywhere. When not bringing light to Rickaroons, Janalyn surfs, runs, swims, beach lifeguards in San Diego, teaches Stand Up Paddle Yoga, runs her photography company Horizon Light Productions, and does yoga on the roof of her house. All in a day's work.
Grant LeBeau is the son of Rick(aroons). When not lobbying to change the name of the company to "Grantaroons", he can be found playing water polo in New Zealand, hiking Mt. Whitney, lifeguarding on beaches in San Diego, playing ultimate frisbee, coaching high school water polo, and trying his best.
