Tell us about how your journey into yoga. When I first found yoga, I knew immediately I had discovered my passion. At first things were not pretty, I wasn't strong enough to support my body weight and I had zero coordination. I didn't play sports in high school or college, and never considered myself even remotely athletic. Over the past two years I have completely dedicated myself to transforming my body and my life, and every day is a challenge. I find motivation from within, as the only way to truly change is to do it for yourself. 

When do you eat Rickaroons? Why do you eat Rickaroons? Rickaroons are the perfect snack any time of day. I love the Mocha flavor with a cup of coffee for a light breakfast, or the Megaroon as a post-yoga snack. Truly I would eat them all day if I could! Not only are they delicious but they are actually so healthy, too! 

How does nutrition play a role in your life? Nutrition plays a huge role in my life. Practicing yoga means that I am very aware of how my stomach feels, and folding myself in half is much easier with a happy belly. I am currently studying to become a holistic health coach, and a lot of this deals with fueling your body properly. Being as active as I am it is so important that I have enough energy to make it through the day. I would consider myself mostly "paleo" although I try to focus on eating more plants and less meat.
